Yesterday wasn’t a bad day. I got loads accomplished. I also added about a million things to my “stuff to get done” list. Great.

As you know, my day started out with me waking up an hour after I was supposed to be at work. When I finally got to work, I learned that the block that I slaved over making last week was the wrong one. So, it got recycled. Lame. Then, I got to make the right block. Then, Le Duke and I worked on making the new mold for a while. And I assembled some orders and glazed a few things before heading to my meeting.

The meeting consisted of me and Dr. D working out a list of everything we need to get this show on the road. That took the better part of an hour. Making a school from scratch is hard.

Then it was home to write this week’s article. And a much needed Frito chili pie. And much needed shower. Then I folded laundry and unloaded the dishwasher. Then bed time.

Wasn’t my day exciting? No. I didn’t think so either. I’m trying to sleep at night and also trying not to get addicted to sleeping pills. This is counterproductive. Man, that’s a really long word. I went to bed around 10:30pm last night. No pills. I woke up at 5:15am this morning. 45 minutes before the alarm was set to go off. What the crap is going on with my internal clock?

In more exciting news:

Today’s plan is to do more work on the theater blocks. I am also supposed to meet with the draftsman about the school. He is drawing up plans for the needed construction. And then I, of all people, have to approve them. Maybe I’ll get my fireman’s pole after all.
