Something Like Hay Fever, But Cooler.

So, yeah. I couldn’t fall asleep last night. Then I slept until noon today. Sorry for the delay in the post.

Happy Easter, whatever that means to you.

Yesterday I did some catching up on my clearance shopping. I also made preparations for my plan to cook all day today. My sleeping-in threw a bit of a wrench in that, but whatever. It is going to happen. I also bought myself my birthday stock pot. 24 whole quarts (22.7 liters) of glorious stock pot action. I also de-boned two delicious chickens in order to use their bones for my stock. Herbs and veggies? Check. Today we stock up.

I also picked some new arrows yesterday. When the Rev. Dark Wombat returns, he plans on continuing his study of Kyudo, and wants me to shoot arrows with him. I’ve been looking for a reason to start shooting again, but just haven’t managed to make myself do it. So, I’m getting prepared.

When I acquired my arrows, Teacher Sis picked up a hammock stand for her new hammock. You know, the one she bought during our Ikea adventure. Anyway, after our clearance run we headed to her house where I set up the hammock stand for her and we watched the newest episode of Bones. Spoiler: Stapes.

Well, I’d love to stay and chat some more, but I’ve got cooking to do. Plus, I finally found whole wheat pastry flour so I can finally make the lemon bars for White Chocolate. She’s been waiting for them for like a month now. Anywho, enjoy your Sunday. More soon. ~SC

Hey, remember when I put an arrow in the gallery roof from like a mile away?
