So, I did my laundry Thursday night. You know, all the dirty clothes from the nearly two weeks worth of traveling that I just did. After I put the last load into the dryer, I was on my way back to my office, when I passed the closet with the hot water heater in it. It was making this running water sound. I didn’t really pay too much attention to it because I just figured it was making more hot water because I had just used it all washing clothes.

Cut to an hour later. I’m getting ready for bed and I pass the hot water closet again. Still running. I take notice this time and investigate. Sure enough, there’s water on the floor. So, I shut the water off as best I could and email Teacher Sis. I would have called but my brain is still on Ota time and it was the middle of the night.

Yesterday, after I left work, Teacher Sis and crew came by to a) get loot and b) work on the hot water heater. And yes, it was busted. So, we had to go get a new one.

Is anyone else keeping track of this? Because I am. Since the beginning of the year the stove, dishwasher, heater, microwave, and now hot water heater have gone out. Wanna start a pool to see which one goes out next? Jeezus.

I’m getting around slowly today. Not because the universe made me, but because I want to. I popped a Unisom before bed last night and passed right the Hell out. And I didn’t wake up this morning until Eazy started attacking my feet under the covers.

Today we’re back to the old Saturday schedule. Lunch on assignment and a clearance run with Teacher Sis. I’ve decided that I’m going to but myself something nice today. Having seen what a real ramen kitchen looks like, and since I’ve got a little birthday money to play with, I think I’m finally going to get myself a nice big stock pot. And guess who’s got a coupon for Bed, Bath, and Beyond. And guess who carries a stock pot that matches my brand new cookware. Mwhahaha…
