Dude, That Scapula’s Badass.

Yesterday was a busy day despite the fact that I didn’t really do too much. I somehow managed to squeeze in all of my leg washing. You know, for keeping my tattoos clean. They’ve officially entered into the trying to be really dry and itch and shed flaky bits of inky flesh stage. Everyone’s favorite stage.
Now that I think about it, yesterday was kind of a weird day. And I am having a hard time remembering what I did before 3pm. Oh, that’s right, I proofed some new episodes of podcasts and cleaned house (very little). That is, until Prop Ninja and Ichigo came by with a black trash bag full of bones. Possibly some dead hooker bones in there. A few of the ribs, the tibia, and the cranium could have all belonged to a hooker at one point. At least I like to pretend that they did. It probably has something to do with the overall affect of my niece pulling into my yard (not driveway) in a camo jeep and handing me a black trash bag full of bones. “Here’s the dead hooker you wanted, Unc.” Um, thanks?
Mostly the bones are livestock in origin. Cow, horse, pig, etc. At least I assume. I also like to pretend that the femur and scapula belonged to a triceratops.
Yep. Bones.
After the bones arrived, I headed off to Lippincottonia to meet the Rev. Dark Wombat for a little archery practice. We really do need to build a range. This whole shooting at a tiny target amidst the protective plywood is great and all, but we need an earthen wall to protect the world from our arrows.
After shooting arrows for a couple of hours, we headed off with Teacher Sis to do a little treasure hunting. Let’s just say I scored a vest/utility belt and the fancy light up goggles in the photo above. And pencils. Lots of pencils. Why do I need pencils? For Pathfinder, silly.
Speaking of which, I think we’re playing tonight. After losing a recording and not recording the brilliance of last game, I am definitely showing up early to set up the recording gear. I’m not missing anymore of the glory that is our campaign. But first, I’ve got meetings to attend. I hope you dinguses have a wonderful day. And Dave, think again:
More soon. ~SC
