I Against Ai.

It is Friday and that means, oh wait, I forgot to tell you. My articles, as well as a few others, at the City Wire have been cut back to every other week. From now until the unforeseeable future, my articles will come out on the second and fourth Friday of every month. Tune in next week for that excitement.
But since it’s Friday and I’ll be “working” from home most of the day let’s have a little music, shall we? Maestro, please.
So, yesterday morning I went to the bank for Jesus, but his account was pretty empty. Lame. Then it was off to Lippincottonia to glaze some tile. Then home for email waiting. But, I’m hungry. What to make? That was when Doctor X whispered the answer in my head. Two words were said and I knew what it meant without any further explanation. He whispered “Oklahoma Calzone”. So, I set out to make them. I didn’t have pizza dough, but I had a can of crescent rolls, so mini calzones would have to do.
What goes into an Oklahoma calzone, anyway? Manwich and a Kraft single, of course. Are they delicious? Of course they are. That was a stupid question. You really need to think about things like that before you ask such stupid questions. Jeez. Actually, yesterday was a day filled with Food Chemistry. Earlier in the day I had an idea for a Frito Chili Pizza Pie with a hotdog stuffed crust.
Then, the Rev. Dark Wombat showed up in the evening and asked “What’s for dinner?” So we headed to the grocery store. Since Doctor X had taken over driving this train by this point, it was only natural that we wound up making Falcon Reacharound’s most celebrated product, the Stripperito. They consist of 2 pounds of ground beef, fresh made salsa, a pound queso fresco, half a bag of shredded “Mexican” cheese, and a ton of spices all wrapped in a giant flour tortilla. They are so delicious and spicy. Unfortunately if you eat more than a couple of them it feels like there is a soft ball rolling around in your intestines. So dense.
Today is a day of waiting for stuff to arrive and then The Avengers. I’m going to go make another cup of coffee. Have a great weekend. Happy Hoopsday. More soon. ~SC
