Lost In Thought.

Yesterday was a productive day. I sat in my meetings accomplishing stuff and marking stuff off of lists. After about five hours of that I came home and met with my newest student. We’re trying to get him back on track to graduate. It’s not too daunting a task, it’s just going to take some legwork.
After tutoring was over, it dawned on me that my grades were available for this semester. Did I pass both of my classes? Of course. Did I ace food microbiology? Hell yes. I did scrape a B in “World Regional Geography” though. That is mainly due to the fact that my professor gave me the crutch of using my textbook for exams and then took the crutch away for the final. Did I retain anything from that class? Very little.
The posse is starting to get the Pathfinder fever again. Especially Dave and I. So, last night we headed over to one of our local comic book stores and bought dice. Last time we played we just limped along using the Rev. Dark Wombat’s dice. No more. Fear not my diceless friends. I also broke down and bought the “pound-o-dice” on Amazon last night. My plan is to build sets for everybody else who doesn’t have a set. Sort of loaner sets for the house. Since RDW is probably staying in town this weekend because of job stuff next week, we might try to squeeze a game in sometime. (insert image of me with crazy eyes frantically clapping)
After the meetings and tutoring and dice, I made some (lamb) bangers and (garlic) mash for myself and RDW. Then we settled into my office to dig through the treasure trove of stuff on his computer. I think I’m going to need a bigger hard drive. Between the anime, the music, and the entire series of television shows, mine is going to fill up in a hurry.
Today, I’m going to be… I have no idea what I’m doing today. I’m waiting for a message from my boss about school stuff and I’ll be playing by ear from there. It’s an adventure for sure. Well, I’m going to get to it. Have a wonderful Thursday. More soon. ~SC
