I’ve got meetings all day today. Sorry, I spaced out there for a minute. I typed that first sentence and then just stared blankly at the screen for a while. Weird. Yeah, meetings. First thing this morning we’ve got a meeting to discuss progress and to begin sorting out the minutia. Goodie.

After my meeting, I’ve got another meeting to deal with other details stuff. Then, this afternoon, I’ve got the tutoring that was postponed from yesterday. Then this evening, tentatively, I’ve got Promethean board training. I have to say that going to meetings beats waiting around for emails all day, but not by much. Somebody needs to give me a hammer and a screw driver and point me the direction of something that either needs to be put together or royally fucked up.

Yesterday I went to Lippincottonia to help Le Duke gather up his scattered brain meats and pack them into his suitcase. Then I dropped him off at the airport and sent him off to France. Bon Voyage. No, seriously, have a great trip. I wasn’t being cliche, I was being totally serious.

Do you ever have a week where you can feel the tension building? Where you can see the storm clouds on the horizon and know that it’s only a matter of time before the monsoon hits? That’s how I’ve been feeling the past week. And not in a bad way. But in a totally nerdy kind of way. I don’t think a day has passed since the Rev. Dark Wombat returned that playing Pathfinder hasn’t been brought up and discussed thoroughly. The nerds can feel the electricity in the air and are getting excited. We are already making preparations for the new game we’re starting later in the summer. My character so far is going to be a narcoleptic dark elf bard named Drow-Z.  Maybe he’ll be a rapper. Like Jay-Z, but sleepier and magical. So silly.

Enough of this silliness. I need to go gather up my crap and head to the university for my first meeting. Do have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
