The Rite Of Passage For The Catgirl.

First and foremost, my apologies for the tardiness of today’s post. You see, what had happened was…
I finally fell asleep around 2-ish a.m. and then the next thing I know Big D is knocking on my front door because we are late for our trip to the bank for Jesus. So, I jump out of bed, throw some clothes on, and head off to the bank. Please note, no coffee. Then we get everything from the bank and head to the church. We get everything unloaded and sorted and then I have to leave to go to the dentist. Still, no coffee.
So, I’m finally back home with a cup of coffee. Nearly 4 hours after I found out that I slept through two hours of alarm.
You may be wondering why I got to bed so late. A good part of that is insomnia. The other part, the one that made me stay up past 10pm, is of course my new obsession: Pathfinder. Last night we had an impromptu game. It all started when we decided that maybe we should go ahead and get Oxi’s rite of passage over with. What started with a lone catgirl locked in a cage in a bandit’s forest fortress wound up being the untimely burning to the ground of said fortress and the slaughter of a shitload of bandits. She killed most of them. Not bad for a first run. Then we headed to the capital where my character wound up getting all messed up on eggs-tasy and shochu in a Tangu (raven-folk) bar. Stinkin’ raven-folk and their rice liquor.
The only crappy part about last night’s game was that my computer decided to go insane and lose nearly an hour of the podcast that I was recording. I was so angry at the computer that I tried, and failed, to punch a bandit using electric fist. Should’ve used fire fist.
Also, I would like to thank all of you office supply nerds who came out of the woodwork to help me out with my binder dilemma. I actually scored a nice one from Janice at the bank. It was sort of a fluke that she had one. Someone had ordered business checks and a binder, but the checks that came in were personal checks and the appropriate personal check binder. Both wrong. But they held on to the binder. It has been collecting dust for a long time, until now. Mwhahaha…
Also, I would like to wish a Happy Birthday to JoJo. Be sure to wish him one as well.
Okay, well, I should probably get on with my day. Have a good one. More soon. ~SC
