The Wombat Has Landed.

Oh, just look at all you guys checking the website this morning to hear me talk about the Rev. Dark Wombat’s safe return. You guys are so sweet. And then look at me getting up late and leaving you hanging for two hours. It’s good to be the king sometimes.
So, yeah. He’s back.
After spending a couple of hours glazing tiles yesterday morning, I came home to do a little work. Then it was off to the university for the book party. They had a great turnout and it was a huge success. At one point I won a piece of metal type that had been turned into a keychain. As the party wore on, one of Little Mountain Lesha’s tiny, super cute daughters’ number got drawn in the raffle. She wanted a keychain and there weren’t anymore. She got kind of upset and was on the verge of tears (perhaps she was getting tired), so I gave her mine. I’ve got plenty of metal here at the house and if giving a kid a keychain will stop her from having a meltdown during a party, take it kid. Crisis averted.
After the party I came home to slather on some deodorant before heading to dinner with the family Wombat. Then it was back to my house for a bit before heading to the house that Steenie built for some bubbling (New Super Mario Bros.). The Rev. wasn’t long for this world, seeing as how he’d been up for 30+ hours at that point, so he headed home and then team Bubble and Slap commenced to take on World 9. My role in the game is to be an anchor for the bubbling. And to die a lot. It’s important to know your role in life.
That’s why I’m getting around a little late this morning. Bubbling.
Today is a work from home day. I’m just going to do a bit of research, take a shower, deal with my architect issues, and work on plans for this evening. The Rev.’s fans await. And with that, I’ma get to it. More soon. ~SC
