The Job Search.

So, my project in “Writing for the Workplace” this week involves me having to find a job, researching the company, and generating a resume and cover letter. Ugh. I already have a job. One, in fact, that I got without doing any of that stuff they say in the textbook. I guess I’m just going to have to get creative.

Speaking of getting creative, today is going to be a long day. My team of school builders and I are having to put together a presentation about the school. And we have to present it on Friday. Which means we have to get it built and polished today, so that we do a dry run tomorrow, and make any necessary corrections before the big shiny happens Friday morning. So that means I have a presentation production meeting first thing today, then my wonderfully enjoyable writing class, then more presentation work after that. And we’ll be there until we get it done. I’m going to need more coffee.

In other news, Regina Spektor just released a new single from upcoming album. Please enjoy:

She’s so pretty and weird.

And for all of you Math nerds out there, here’s a pretty funny video about our old friend Pythagoras. Turns out he was just as weird (possibly insane) as Regina. Beans?!

Yeah, that’s all I’ve got for you today. I need to go find a job. Another one. Again. More soon. ~SC
