Perfect Timing.

Yesterday and today are all about timing things perfectly. Some people might call that time management, but those people are jerks.

I spent the majority of yesterday on the phone with Zaxxon and helping Oxi to organize the great ship off of stuff from my house. All of that culminated with me riding in the backseat of the Rev. Dark Wombat’s car as we took one of the Japanese exchange students home. To the middle of b.f.e creepy-ville Oklahoma. In a thunderstorm. With blood-sucking mist and crazy dogs. Yeah. Let that sink in.

Also, speaking of perfect timing, Vika released a new song yesterday. I couldn’t think a more appropriate song to have released, either:

Man, that’s a rough one.

Moving on. Today is even more about timing. The truck is coming to pickup Oxi’s pallets around 4 or 5pm. I have to leave at 2pm to head to Little Rock with the Rev. Dark Wombat to pick up Zaxxon at 5:30. It is supposed to start storming around 2. Once Zaxxon is acquired, we have to try and make it back here before 8, so that he can attend the viewing of his mother at the funeral home. And I have to get to bed as early as possible in order to take Pancake Land to the airport at 4:30am, so I’ll have the truck, so I can get to the Mama Hammons funeral at 10am. And at some point in there I need to take a shower and maybe eat something. Oh, and load the pallets so the truck can pick them up, but do so in a way that prevents them from being rained on. Oh, Batman, give me strength and patience. And a lot of appropriately timed coffee.

Well, I hope your week is going as well as mine. Hey, it beats the Hell out of siting in meetings. I guess. All but that my friend’s mom dying stuff. Anyway, wish me luck. More soon. ~SC

Sounds like you need a stopwatch.
