Morning all. It is Monday yet again. This is a weird week for me. Supposedly, I don’t have any meetings this week. That’s funny because I’ve been communicating with my coworkers for the past half hour via iPad in my office. Just because we are not sitting together in one room, doesn’t mean that there are no meetings. Semantics. Ugh.

As promised, we have a video today. I got it from Dave last night. And it is awesome. Please enjoy wisely:

Yeah, if you want any of that monster, I have four bottles in my fridge. Take them, please.

In other weird news, I walked over to Lippincottonia to shoot arrows yesterday. With my bow and arrows. On the way home, a cop car drove by. And I noticed that it stopped in the parking lot of the college, right next to the campus police car. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone, cop or otherwise, stopped me to ask what I was doing.

Sure enough, as I got near them, there beckoned to me. Not in that sir could put your hands in the air kind of way, though. They waved at me. Maybe their training taught them that this was the appropriate greeting when confronting a man with a bow and arrows. They quickly informed me that I was not in trouble for anything, but that they had never seen someone walking down the street with a bow and arrows, and they thought it was the coolest thing they’d ever seen. Anyways, I talked to them about shooting arrows for a while and invited them to come play with us. We’ll see if they show up. After about 10 minutes of chatting with them, we went our separate ways.

I mentioned this because it was probably the most bizarre interaction with the police that I have ever experienced.

All right, I’m going to go get ready to help Dave pack his U-Haul. He leaves for Nawlins tomorrow…

Anyways, have a good Monday. More soon. ~SC
