Doing The Time Warp Again.

Wait, what day is it?

I’d like to start out today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Yervan. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Yesterday was kind of a blur. It was the kind of day that burned through my cell phone minutes. The kind of day where you find yourself wearing nothing but a fluffy white bathrobe, eating quesadillas and Munchos at one in the morning, wondering why you can’t just go to sleep. I was handling all sorts of business yesterday. Jesus’s banking stuff, mailing stuff, shopping for stuff, shooting arrows into stuff, organizing collector’s cards, dealing with other people’s relationship explosions. At about 11 last night, I had had enough and put the phone away from me. It didn’t stop ringing. It never stops.

It’s funny. I took a survey the other day, because I am the type of person who enjoys taking surveys, and there was a question on it asking how I would feel if I didn’t have all of this technology any longer. What, you mean like living on a desert island and only concerning myself with food, clothing, and shelter? I think, after yesterday, I’d feel pretty comfortable with that.

But, that doesn’t look like it is happening anytime soon. I’ve been answering phone calls, messages, text messages, and emails all morning. I was supposed to have meetings today, but it looks like they’re being bumped until tomorrow right before our public hearing for the school. Awesome. And I might be teaching geometry. And I have to work on Le Duke’s iPad Garageband stuff. And I need to go get a gym membership. And vent my frustrations with a golden arrow of justice. Or maybe just listen to this song at high volumes:

I would love to stay and chat, but I’ve got snacks to buy and dice to roll. Have a great weekend. Buy me something nice from the comicon. More soon. ~SC
