He’s Like The Emerson Of Taking A Dump.

Was your yesterday as exhausting as mine was?
I mean, it was ridiculous. It was frantic and busy and it just wore me right out. I blame the heat. Maybe the lack of coffee, too. Whatever it was, it made for a short game of Pathfinder last night. It may sound like I’m complaining about yesterday, but I’m not. It was in fact a very productive day. I got stuff done. And it felt good. It sure beats sitting in meetings all day and doodling on the iPad. I got stuff purchased. I got stuff mailed. I got software up and running. I shot arrows. I totally failed to get a gym membership by no fault of my own. I got stuff done. Two days in a row. It’s like I’m warming up the engine for the race that is my life that begins on Monday. That’s right, school starts for me Monday at 11am. Bum bum buh…
But before we can get to there, we have to get through this weekend. Today is the public hearing for the charter school that I’ve been trying to help start. If you’d care to attend, it will be going on from 1-3 this afternoon in Carnegie room of the main location of the Fort Smith Public Library. There’ll be a brief presentation and then a Q&A session. There will be light snacks. If you don’t want to come and be bored to death while eating fruits and veggies, I completely understand. It is not designed to be exciting. It is a formality. And I have to be there for the whole thing because it is my job. I plan on reading a book most of the time. It is at the library after all.
After that exciting business, I have to, have to, have to eat on assignment. I’ve been attempting to do that all week, to no avail. I’m thinking Vietnamese food. Ready your belly and roll for initiative.
Well, the time has come for me to go get ready to go to this thing. Before I go, I’m going to leave you with a little video that is sure to brighten your day. So, here you go:
You have to admit, he holds his mouth right. Have a great weekend. More soon. ~SC
