Music and Balls.

Morning kids. We made to Friday once again.
And it just so happens to be that Friday. That’s right. My new article is up on the City Wire. If you’d care to read it, click here: The Missing Corndog. If you wouldn’t care to read it, you can click here, instead: The Found Corndog.
So, yesterday can be summed up for me by two videos. I know. I know. Those of you idly wasting your work days away by looking at my website instead filing TPS reports cannot watch the videos, so my posts that consist mainly of videos are incredibly short and dull for you. (A single tear rolls down my cheek.) Too bad.
The first video is more about the song than the video. It is a song that Dave played for me ages ago and I heard it again yesterday. And then it got stuck in my head. So I listened to it over and over and over and over again. I think that this might be one of the most depressing and yet catchy songs I’ve ever heard. Be warned, once you listen to this song, it (mainly the chorus) will most likely get stuck in your head. You’ve been warned. Also, the best quality version I found of this song also has another song at the end of it. The other song is excellent, but beside the point. Focus on the first song. Ready? Okay:
Damn, I love me some Gregory Page. All right. Now that we are sufficiently depressed we need a bit of cheering up. Right? Well, I’m sure most of you have heard about Donald Trump’s challenge to Barry the other day. He wants Barry’s college transcript and application records to be released and then he’ll donate something like 5 million dollars to the charity of Barry’s choosing. Or something like that. Anyway, apparently (according to Pancake Land) Stephen Colbert heard about this and then issued his own challenge to Donald Trump.
I feel sorry for Donald Trump. Because Stephen Colbert has got huge balls made of solid rock, apparently. I just hope Donald can open his pouty mouth that wide.
So, that pretty much summed up my day yesterday. Sure, I made some mugs. And archery got rained out. And I helped Nichol Pickle with his Science Fair project. And yes I finally came to the realization that Easy A is probably one of the most brilliant movies of all time. But those two videos were definitely the high water marks.
Today, and this weekend, I have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve got class today. And mug making. And the gym. But other than that, no idea. I guess figuring that out will involve me putting pants on, so I’m gonna go do that. Have a great day. More soon. ~SC
