Guns And Fists.

Today is a day of battle. Gird your effing loins.

But first, we have to get through yesterday. First off, it was very laid back compared to Thursday. Still, I had my share of running around. I had to swing by Lippincottonia to email La Duchess (who is in Little Rock) a bread recipe. While I was there, I found this golden treasure of awesomeness:

After that, I headed over to one of my students’s schools to have a sit down with the principal about homework stuff. No worries. It wasn’t a bad kid meeting. Just trying to get ahead. Then, it was off to the post office to mail a package. Then, home again to discover that my tutoring got bumped, possibly to today.

With that cleared from the schedule I watched some Bones until Maruberu Gaaru called to say she was home. I went to pick her up and we headed off to the cable company to pay her bill. While I was there, I scheduled an install for a cable jack in my office. So that I can serve up some innernet. Then, more Bones and the gym. At some point, this arrived. So, I had to play with it. You know, for science.

Oh, sorry. I got distracted watching Bill Nye talk about evolution. Where was I? Oh, yeah. Science.

That pretty much wrapped up the day. Well, crawling around on the floor picking up plastic BBs wrapped up the day. Those boxes were no match for Tommy Gun.

Today we deal with a different kind of gun, a cannon. That’s right, WBA plays Arsenal today. Unfortunately for the Gunners, they are going to lose to the Baggies. It’s not going to be a good day for them, I can feel it. I can feel the cosmos.

While that epic foot battle is waging, I will be getting a haircut and probably tutoring. Time permitting, I will catch up on the newest episodes of Bones with Teacher Sis before heading to Praetoria to play Pathfinder. And that pretty much sums up the day for me. Hair, homework, football, Bones, Larry, done. I hope you have a wonderful weekend fulling of crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women. More soon. ~SC
