It is cold and the sun is not up yet. Why am I awake? No idea. Other than that whole going to the bank for Jesus thing. After the bank I am going to work at the letterpress shop. Cleaning up the mess we made last week.

Not to break the third wall or anything, but I had intended on writing some of this last night. On occasion, say, when I have to get up early, I’ll work out most of the post for the following day before I head to bed. That way, I can work out a nice long post and provide you with some decent, or indecent, entertainment whilst at the same time doing my favorite thing in the whole world: talking about how incredibly average my life is.

Last night, I decided to try something stupid, instead of working on today’s post. I went to bed early. My thought was that if I went to bed early, then I’d get plenty of sleep, be rested, and be up in time to make a good post. I failed to consider some of the variables into this equation. Stuff like, the sleeping me is an asshole who will keep snoozing the alarm clock. Or, I have insomnia. Or, I have cats, which by very nature, means they are nocturnal psychopaths whom will probably start chasing each other around the house, somehow managing to jump on the bed as part of the lap, like a twisted midnight game of follow-the-leader full-speed through the obstacle course, but with more claws and fear.

Rambling.

Sorry. Wait, no I’m not. Fuck you.

Needless to say, my plan failed. Next time I’ll just stay up and start the post.

Yesterday, I had some excitement. If only I could remember what it was. . .

Oh, right. I had sushi for lunch. And then I had an eye exam. I ran some cable extension in my office for the modem and router. I moved the modem and router into the office. I went to the gym. I had cheesy hot dog roll-ups for dinner. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I’m sure I rubbed one out at some point. Obviously it wasn’t that spectacular.

(crickets)

Okay then. Now that I have created an awkward silence, I’ll just go get dressed for my day. Tomorrow: Hobbit. More soon. ~SC
