The Gravy Train To Crazy Town.

Playing catch-up is fun.

I totally slept in today. Was it awesome? Yes and no. I kinda feel like crap now. The secret to sleeping in, is that you need to be getting good solid sleep. The restful kind of sleep. Not the sleep of horrors and dreams and cats pouncing on you. So it goes.

A few days ago, I got a book in the mail. In fact, I got this is in the mail:

pathfinder-adventure-path-rise-of-the-runelords

And it made me so happy. Like, little kid happy. Nerdy little kid happy. I haven’t felt this happy about a book since I got this in the mail back when I was taking botany:

Tree guide

So nerdy. So happy.

I guess you’ve figured out that I am about to start running my own campaign for the Pathfinder group. My first game as Game Master (GM). I figured, what the Hell, this is my first game, I should buy the book. That way I can reference the actual book for campaign stuff and use the iPad to check the bestiary or Advanced Player’s Guide or whatnot. And since I’m not half-assing this GM business, I ordered the set of dice that go with this campaign.

Yeah.

So, in addition that nerdy business, I have been watching more romantic comedies. Yesterday, I watched This Is 40 which was funny. No guffawing, but still funny. Peep it:

Today, I am going to attempt to watch this, per Furious Jessy’s recommendation:

It looks pretty good.

After that, I’m going to the grocery store. After the store I am going to the Swallowtail Festival in a little town called Sandpoint. That is where our adventure begins. I have a feeling the party might get crashed by an army of goblins. But that’s just my gut feeling. I might be misinterpreting that sensation with the aftereffects of having eaten those taquitos with the Velveeta and chorizo dip last night.

Alright, let’s get this nerdy party started. Have a wonderful weekend. More soon. ~SC
