And thanks for all the emails.

It is Friday once again. And today’s post is brought to you with the help of a large group of women that I know. So, thank them, or blame them, for what is about to happen to your mind. The following post is assembled in no particular order, so that no favoritism is shown to my beloved female friends.

First off, Andi the Numbers informed me that Mumford and Sons are playing in Guthrie in September, and if you’d like to go, you can crash at her house. Tickets go on sale at 11am today, so don’t mess around. If you wanna go, click here.

Secondly, the Baroness Ida von Bltizenstein informed me of a heavy metal revolution that is taking place in Botswana. A revolution of dudes who look like this:

Third up today, Teacher Sis sent me an article about roller derby. And you’ll never guess whose photos got chosen for the article. Click here to find out.

Next up is Furious Jessy, who reminded me of a show that I had been meaning to watch. And because of the reminder, I actually sat down and watched it. It is a show produced by Geek and Sundry, Felicia Day’s nerd video company, and it is pretty much what it sounds like. A show about playing table top RPGs, where Wil Wheaton (the host) and a few guests actually play the game. And the guest line-up is always pretty awesome. Here’s the first episode where they play Small World:

Pretty cool, right? No. Pretty nerdy and awesome, right? Yes.

Also, I learned yesterday that I have a neurological disorder called Misophonia. Apparently, becoming enraged at the sound of someone chewing is classified as a neurological disorder. I always knew that there was something wrong with my brain.

Also, we have 9 new Japanese students here this semester. So, in addition to the normal group of people at my house last night, there where 9 new people. (If you keeping a running tally, there were 17 people and me here. 12 Japanese, 1 Nigerien, 1 Chinese, 1 from Hong Kong, and 3 Americans.) Unfortunately, I didn’t have time between the feeding frenzy and the mandatory lecture that the new students had to attend, to Trap all of them. But I got two of them.

The Great Hope.

The Great Hope.

Sepi.

Sepi.

Yeah. I’ll probably have the chance to Trap the other 7 tonight. Sigh. We’re gonna need a bigger boat. Or at least a bigger stove to cook dinner on. This 4 burner is not quite big enough to cook enough food.

All right. I hope all of you have enjoyed the post today. Be sure to give a shout out to all of the ladies who made this post possible. And from my heart, thanks gals. Enjoy your weekend. More soon. ~SC

That’s 17 people all chewing at once. How loud must your tv be to deal with that?

You’re a little late. I mentioned the Botswana Metal scene stuff a while ago. It was on facialbook, so it doesn’t really count. Trust thought that I been tryin to get that Skinflint.
