What we thought was specific, was just generic.

Mornin’ kids. Yesterday was another wash of crumbling plans. So I spent the day hanging out with this hottie:

Yeah. I watched The Wedding Singer and then I watched Going the Distance. Which somehow, probably because they are in the latter, got me listening to the Boxer Rebellion.

And that somehow led me to discover that Mumford and Sons covered my favorite Simon and Garfunkel song. And holy shit did they do a good job.

And then Teacher Sis passed a message on from Coach Dolphin:

Batman

Yep. That sums up yesterday.

Today is a bank run for Jesus. And History of Modern Science. And probably not archery due to rain, but that won’t stop 10 gajillion people from coming over for dinner. Let’s see if I can wrangle them all to the free roller derby match tonight. I’m not gonna hold my breath. Like my Nanny always used to say “You can shit in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up first.”

More soon. ~SC

That’s some Nanny! Mine only said things like
“You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear”. Now great uncle Phil said such jewels as “My stomach thins my throat is cut”.
