But that is not happening today. That’s the downside of being a grown up.

That and watching your football club having their asses handed to them by a much shittier club. Next weekend is going to be painful to watch.

Yesterday I attempted to sleep in, but failed. So, I did a bunch of nothing until it was time to make an impromptu Target run with Teacher Sis. A much needed one. I found this gem while we were there:

And yes, it is as brilliant as you’d expect. After the glory of a clearance run, it was time to hang out in honor of Word to Me. And eat cheeseburgers.

Belly full, I came home to watch a rom-com with Zaxxon and What Pear of Truth. The most meta Date Night ever later, it was now. (shake head from side to side with relaxed jowls)

Today is a day of tutoring, art books, free ink, gym, and, hopefully, more Legos. Wish me luck. More soon. ~SC
