That’s My Sister You’re Talking About.

She’s the capital of Iceland.

Yesterday, was a better day than Monday. Although, Monday had nachos. And yesterday did get a little weird. Like when I was messaging Teacher Sis about our plans to run errands. She was inquiring about where I needed to go. Then, she informed me “I’m Reykjavik f to figure out if we should play before or after.” Apparently, she’s the capital of Iceland. And it worries me a little that I know the name of the capital of Iceland.

While we were at Book Ends, our favorite book store, I had this brilliant/terrible idea. The idea was that Teacher Sis, Bubba Fett, and I would play a game. We would pick a section of the store, be led blindly (eyes closed) down the aisle, draw a book at random, and we’d have to buy and read the book.

The rules were as follows:

1) The book had to be less than $5.

2) The book had to either a) not be part of a series or b) be the first book in a series.

This idea came from me thinking that I never willingly go seek out new stuff to read. It either magically pops up on my radar or someone tells me to read something. I have no sense of adventure, when it comes to books, anymore. That was until yesterday. Now I have my adventure back and I’ve got this to prove it:

Iseult

This looks like the Arthurian/fantasy equivalent of Nora Roberts. And yes, Furious Jessy you can borrow it when I’m done.

And then Dave sent this wine-drunk raving out into the universe.

That pretty much summed up the craziness for the day. If you don’t count things said about vaginas or scrotum tickling during a game of Cards Against Humanity. And somehow, people don’t ever count things said during that game.

It is just an ordinary Wednesday for me today. Tutoring, gym, errands, coffee, etc.

More soon. ~SC

What’s wrong with knowing the capital of Iceland?
