All because I’m sippin’ Bailey’s.

We made it back to Dublin. I mean, technically, I was here before. Just like I was actually in Paris before. Long enough to drive out of the city and not actually see any of it. This time, I’m hittin’ the streets.

We got here yesterday afternoon. And we checked into the swankiest of swanky joints. I feel underdressed. At the hotel. And this is the view. From my balcony:

Yeah.

After a brief rest from the drive over, we hit the streets. Mostly just looking at stuff. I did find some Scrabble™ magnets for my fridge, though. The streets be hoppin’, yo.

After a quick bite at the Metro Cafe (the bangers and mash are to die for) we headed over to the Temple Bar for some live music (I bought the CD and yes, we’ve got a video). Then, it was time for a short trip through St. Stephen’s park.

And then we called it a night.

Today is a big day. “AL” and Lou Lou are going to meet back up with us at some point. I know that shopping is on the menu. As well as the Temple College library. More shopping, music, food, and walking. Good times (said without a single mL of sarcasm). To round out the day one more big family meal before calling it an early night. We are flying out bright and early tomorrow. You’ll have me back by late afternoon tomorrow. Until then, I’m off.
