Thirty more minutes. Sigh.

In honor of this first day back at school. I am going to pass along something Teacher Sis sent my way. It pretty much sums up a feeling that all teachers, especially those of us who deal with math, have. I hope it makes you laugh as much as it made me.

I can’t stop watching it. I love the look on that guys face when he says “I don’t know”. It makes me happy.

You know what else makes me happy? Knowing that I’ve ordered tickets to see Neil deGrasse Tyson. There is a tiny tiny tiny possibility that I might have an extra ticket. In which case, I was thinking of having a contest to give the spare away. But more on that in the event that I have an extra ticket.

As you’ve probably guessed, I have to go to school today. Because I am a teacher. I prefer the term tutor, but whatever. I teach. And because I teach differently than most teachers (due to school policies mostly) I prefer to call myself something different. That and I have one student. So, tutor seems to be more appropriate. And I can beat my student with Wiffle bat. Because he is 18. I’m telling you, being a tutor is all right.
