A Dark Day.

For my brother.
I’d like to start out today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Sweetbread. Be sure to wish him one as well.
On a sadder note, Shamrock informed me yesterday that Prince Jazzbo, the musician and my brother’s namesake, has died after a long battle with cancer. To read more on the life and death of an icon, click here.
Now there is only one Prince Jazzbo. My Icelandic girlfriend released a song yesterday for you brother. She feels your pain.
And Back Alley Trey sent me this next song by a Swedish glam rock band that he really digs. They are called Crashdiet. You can guess why he likes them. They are like a less shitty Mötley Crüe. Enjoy.
Yeah. And they are a relatively new band. Just for the record. Apparently, that video was banned by MTV. I wonder why?
That song, of course, harkens back to this gem:
I think maybe I will help BAT out this Halloween. He has been talking about coming as a glam rocker this year (cough…again…cough) and I just remembered that I have a brand new pair of white jeans in the closet. Perhaps, I’ll join the band. Hrm…
Oh, and I heard via the grapevine that the dude from yesterday’s post was spotted with dog, yesterday afternoon. So, there’s that.
It is Friday. Tomorrow is hockey. Have a great weekend. More soon. ~SC

You are talking crazy if you think Crashdiet tops the Crue. That shit was boring. Glam rock happened in the 80’s for good reason. It cannot exist in the present. At least try to have fun with it ala Steel Panther. I could never take Crashdiet seriously, with their copycat three chord progression. I might have enjoyed it more if I didn’t have to see them singing it. Although I did enjoy the piss bucket scene. On a related note, I dreamed I had to feed a baby rhino some spaghetti and meatballs to make it out of the car park without alerting anyone. The hobo security guard found us out though, and made us walk back around.
Also R.I.P. sweet prince. I’mma get blunted today in your honor.
