Please wear appropriate attire.

Happy Friday everybody.

Since I haven’t received any new writing assignments yet, I’m going to tell you about a fun assignment that I am planning on undertaking.

I had heard that MIT and various other colleges were releasing some of their classes as open-source learning opportunities. It wasn’t until last week, when Andi the Numbers emailed me this, that I discovered just how cool some of the classes were.

That’s right, it is a food chemistry class. Not in that making hot brown kind of way, but in that actual chemistry of food kind of way. If you want to learn more and perhaps play along, click here.

Just a bit of a warning, you’ll need access to a library’s database in order to gain access to some of the articles you’ll need to read as homework. And the textbook is written by this handsome devil:

mcgee-395

And this:

Weekend plans? No idea, yet. Hopefully playing Pathfinder. West Brom get the weekend off before facing down Stoke City on the 19th. Maybe I’ll take a nap. For the entire weekend.

Regardless of my lack of plans, have a great a weekend. More soon. ~SC
