I’ve Got Blisters.

On my fingers.

I am out of shape. Not in that working out kind of way. Instead, I am out of shape in that making a craft kind of way.

I spent the good part of yesterday making buttons. For the great merch war of 2013. And the palm of my hand has a bruise and there are blisters on two of my fingers. Making merch has a price. And that price is pain. You must suffer for your craft. I suffer. Do you?

There is so much to do today.

There is no bank run this morning. So, I slept in. I am going to need that little bit of extra energy in order to get stuff done.

I have to do my normal work stuff this morning. I have to tend to my parents’s dogs while they are gone. I have to pack for my trip to Austin. I have to shower. I have to do flight check-in stuff. I have to charge my camera. I have to cook, feed, and clean up after the normal exchangers dinner. I have to take Beer to the photo place once again to pick up her prints of the awesome photos from yesterday.

So much to do.

And on top of all of that, I have to get to bed early so I can get up at 4 in the morning to make final preparations for my Austin trip.

I am a busy adult with my important things to do.

I should probably keep making buttons today, as well.

So, yeah, going to Austin tomorrow for the big wedding. That Cherry Girl and Chris the Carpenter are getting hitched. Finally. My presence wasn’t so much requested, as demanded. So, I’m going.

Don’t worry, I’ll be back in time for Pathfinder on Saturday. Which probably won’t happen since the Master of Luck is in England. This is poor planning on my part. Dammit.

Why am I still talking to you?

More soon. ~SC
