When you least expect him.

Top of the mornin’ friends. More accurately, middling-to-bottom of the mornin’ friends.

Yesterday was a productive day. I got so much stuff done. The day started with a disappointing match between West Brom and Southampton. They beat us 1-0. On the bright side, we finally hired a new manager. And despite the terribly shitty game yesterday, he seems to know what he is doing (based on past experience).

Next up in the playlist, the Cat Whisperer came by to look at the stack of books I was getting rid of. She’d never been here, so I hid the freeze ray inside one of the books. She wasn’t ready for it:

Cat Whisperer.

Cat Whisperer.

After she was done digging through the books, Teacher Sis and I loaded up the remaining two boxes and headed off to lunch with Word to Me. Then it was off to the bookstores to hock those books and get a bunch more. So it goes.

At some point after that, it was time for super nachos. And the Rev. Dark Wombat and I began catching up on our many many stories.

Then, it was dungeon o’clock. I punched that wizard in his stupid face. The night had a weird feel to it. Actually the whole day did. Maybe it was just exhaustion. Maybe it was the fact that we all have been out of sorts with the holidays and the weather and the not knowing what day it is business. Whatever it was, it was weirdly subdued.

Today is another busy day. I have to finish the chapter I am reading in “Outlander” so that I can head over to Praetoria to record the first episode of this new podcast. After that, I get to clean up 16 character sheets for the nerd club meeting tomorrow. Maybe some grocery shopping and then the remaining catch-up on the backlog of stories.

And that is what I’ve got going. Hows about you?

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
