What’s In The Future?

Has it just begun?

Blinded by science, I’m on the run.

There is something so incredibly satisfying about taking something that is busted and in pieces and then cleaning it up, fixing it, putting it back together, and then driving over a pile of rocks in it. Seriously, I am considering making some body armor out of tires just so that I’ll look the part after we get done with this Jeep.

In other news, Dave sent me this:

Brilliant.

After my Jeep duties were a success yesterday, I headed home for a quick bite to eat, which has been a luxury this week, and then promptly headed to Underground Ink to threaten a bunch of new printers with a punch to the face if they don’t put their goddamned type away.

After that fun bit of show and tell, I headed off to run arithmetic drills with one of my students. Got to keep sharp. I finally got home again about 7pm. I’ve been sitting on my butt for too long. I’m out of shape. I needed a few more cups of coffee to keep that up. Coffee which I didn’t have. So, another exhausting day down.

And now for round 4 today.

First up is a bank run for Jesus. Once that is done, I’m heading back over to work on the Jeep. After there, I get 30 minutes to myself before I need to start prepping dinner for the exchangers tonight. Whew!

In that 30 minutes, I’m hoping to get a grocery shopping trip done and some chipboard cut down to postcard size. I think I can. I think I can.

I hope I can.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC

Don’t even pretend like you run Bartertown. You’ll wish you were Ike Turner by the time Tina’s done with you.
