I’d like to start out today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Beer. Be sure to wish her one as well.

So, mamihlapinatapai. It’s that moment when your and your friend are eyeing the last cookie and neither of you offer it to the other. Or it is that moment when two people share a perfect unspoken moment. Think every romantic comedy ever. For more info on this fascinating word, click here.

I learned that word yesterday and thought I’d share it with you. It is much easier to share it in written form than verbally.

So, I tried to take the day off yesterday. With a modicum of success. But mostly I failed. That’s what I get for thinking that I could sit idly in my house and do nothing. If the housework won’t get me, my friends and family will.

As for today, what with it being Spring Break and all, that means nothing changes for me whatsoever. It just means that everybody else has nothing to do with their hands.

My hands are going to busy as always.

This morning I am going to pick up the embroidered patches that I stupidly forgot to get on Friday. After that, I might print some more posters. Or I might run around with Teacher Sis since we didn’t get a chance to do that this weekend.

Tonight, the forecast is predicting Pathfinder. But time will tell. I’m off to go pretend to get into shape.
