And why are 50,000 of them in there?
Mornin’ friends!
I’d like to start out today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Fireball. Be sure to wish her one as well.
Yesterday was a crazy day. I mean like cray-cray baby mama crazy.
For starters, people just kept knocking on my door. All day. The first person to do it was some guy with neck tattoos and a missing front tooth eloquently asking me what I was planning to do with my busted old dishwasher that was sitting by the trash cans. I told him he could take it.
The next person to knock on my door was a kindly old guy with a bible. He just handed me a piece of paper and said “You are invited.” Long pause. “To come celebrate Jesus’s death with us.”
Before the celebrating Jesus’s death part, all I could think of was this:
Yeah. Then, my student knocked on my door.
He stuck around for a bit and then headed back to work.
A little while later, another knock on the door. This time, it was one of my neighbors back behind my house, across the alley. He had seen me mowing and wanted to borrow my mower. I loaned it to him and he returned it an hour later clean and full of gas. After a few minutes of conversation, I sent him home with my busted old mower that I failed to repair despite my best efforts and my having wasted over a hundred bucks on parts.
Getting rid of stuff. Huzzah!
Then, I started working on leveling up my character for the Evil Campaign. Favored terrain, yo.
Then, Teacher Sis and Bubba Fett knocked on my door. Errands! After getting done with that, another knock on the door. This time it was Dave. Fresh out of the car after a nine hour drive from NOLA. Madness ensued. And El Super Taco.
Today is another day of madness.
Currently, West Brom is up 3-1 against Tottenham Hotspur. Insane. Boing Boing Baggies!
As for me, I’m about to go solve computer problems, hang some posters for derby, shop office supplies, buy groceries, and maybe nap before the evil resumes tonight. Mwhahaha!
Do something fun this weekend.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
