There Is No Digital.

There is only Zuul.
Yesterday attempted to suck. Or maybe I was predisposed to thinking it was going to suck after the Monday I had. Whatever the case, I fought it sucking.
Ice cream is a magical food.
So, after my usual morning stuff, I came home and cleaned up my kitchen. I even started the dishwasher. Only to immediately realize that I forgot to put something in there. This is when I discovered that the handle/latch/openy mechanism on the dishwasher is now broken.
After it ran its cycle, I proceeded to spend two hours trying to get the dishwasher open and repaired. This involved emptying the clean dishes out of it, somehow unscrewing it from the countertop, buying a set of torx screwdrivers to take the door apart, and then taking the dishwasher door completely apart.
This is when I discovered that the openy mechanism and all of the the things that it connected to were, how to put this delicately, totally fucking destroyed. I then informed my landlord about this and set about searching for replacement parts online. I quickly came to the conclusion that we could repair the busted-ass parts for about $175 or we could just buy a new dishwasher for under $300. Stupid latch.
I sometimes wish I had never started using dishwashers. Then, it wouldn’t be such a huge pain in the ass to not use one. Welcome to First-World Problems 101.
At some point, I gave up and watched 47 Ronin and ate a chicken pot pie. After that, I caught up on Arrow. Because I am a grown up.
I also discovered that Minesweeper is available for my computer. For free. Downloaded. Played the crap out of it. Made me look like this:
Then it was dinner time, with the usual suspects, over at the Rev. Dark Wombat’s. It was gumbo night. I retired to the house a bit earlier than normal because I decided to have a quivering butthole. And nobody wants to use the bathroom after you when you get one of those.
Today is the busiest day of rest ever. Luckily, I get a massage today. Screw you guys, I need to relax, too.
Okay, I’m off to wear myself out.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
