Happy Mother’s Day to all you mommas out there.

In addition to this special day for madres, it also happens to be the end of English football season. By “end” I mean last Premier league game until the fall. There will still be friendly matches and training, and of course World Cup, but the regular season is over today. West Brom is currently down by one point to Stoke City. A point we scored on our own goal. At least we’re consistent.

Today is a day of preparations. I have a huge list of stuff to do today to prep for my Cali trip, which is officially happening. So much to do, so little time. In addition to all of the prep stuff I need to do, I still need to do all of my normal Sunday stuff. And try not to punch the screen of the computer because of Peter Odemwingie (dick).

So, yesterday was a day of things happening that were unexpected. I got a haircut. That was all I expected to happen. I then ran in to an old friend who had moved away. She is back and working at my usual lunch with Word to Me on Saturday joint. Suddenly, a wild old friend appears. You use hugs. It’s super effective.

We got to play Pathfinder one more time with Dave here. And we got to dust off our characters for the Pathfinders (Rev. Dark Wombat’s campaign). LAAAARRRRYYY JEEENNNKKIIINNNSSS! Did Larry punch the ever-loving-shit out of some bad guys? Oh, you know it.

I really need to get to work on packing and organizing. I should probably go.
