Chariots of Fire?
No. That’s the song they play at the Special Olympics.
Q: What’s funnier than me trying to find helium balloons on a Sunday afternoon?
A: Putting nine of them in my truck and having me drive into the boonies.
Seriously, I would have had a panic attack had I not been laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation. You’ve seen my truck. It’s not big. I put nine helium balloons in there with me. And drove for twenty minutes. I took them to the graduation party we had for my student. I was so incredibly silly. I kept just laughing.
How do I get myself in these situations?
Speaking of ridiculous, I rocked the ever-loving shit of my list yesterday. I got everything done except for taking a shower. Which, I mean come on, who needs to do that anyway?
Today is Memorial day. So, remember stuff and honor the victorious dead.
This evening we are having a going away dig for Zaxxon. Yell if you need directions or whatever.
This morning, regardless of the holiday, I am working out. Probably again this afternoon, too. It is Monday, after all. After workout this morning, Taco Planet and I have a meeting with Le Duc about stuff. Grown up stuff. I’ll tell you when you’re older.
And with that, I’m out.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
