“It just makes you look fat and gross.”

The past few days have been a roller coaster. I have ranged emotionally everywhere from so frustrated I wanted to throw my phone out of the window of a moving car, to so horribly depressed after seeing some construction workers rescuing a kitten that had been hit by a car and left for dead (by the worst human beings alive), to totally guilty for not stopping to offer my help with the busted up kitten. Thrown in there at random points were moments of happiness and joy, but those were few and far between. The shitty stuff made those donuts all the sweeter. The extra pushups and squats to burn off the donuts are totally worth it.

The good news is that the new Robert Gilbraith (JK Rowling) book “Silkworm” will be arriving at my house later today. You can guess what I’m doing this weekend. That’s right. I’ll be reading “Outlander” so I can then read the new book.

Other things happening this weekend include (hopefully): making laundry detergent, making a new Dangerous Kitchen video about kimchi, making the aforementioned kimchi, reading a lot, and killing shit in the Evil campaign.

That’s my plan anyway.

Things I won’t be doing this weekend are as follows: dealing with other people’s problems.

Yeah.

Okay, I have to work off a dozen donut holes from yesterday. And get ahead for the super nachos I’m having for dinner.
