Ever.

No, not really.

I’d like to start today’s post by wishing good doogies to Teacher Sis as she takes her National Boards test today. Send her some good vibes why dontcha?

Yesterday was “D-Day”. No one knows why it’s called that. It just is. The English sometimes refer to it as “the Longest Day”. It was the day the world held its breath as wave after wave of soldiers hit the beaches of Normandy. Come on, we’ve all seenĀ Saving Private Ryan. We know how it went down. Long story short: Nazis – 0; Everybody Who Isn’t a Nazi – 1.

Funny thing about the Longest Day. June 6th is also the day in “Prisoner of Azkaban” where they have to go back and save Buckbeak and Sirius. Making it the longest day for Harry and Hermione, as well. I learned that in my Harry Potter class. Pretty cool, right?

He did the exact same "Cheers" in Fifth Element.

Yesterday was just a regularly long day for me. I capped it with an order of Super Nachos and an episode of DS9. Then I attempted to go to bed. Because I was tired. And I had, somehow in my exhausted state, agreed to go to a workout this morning. Being a man of my word is stupid sometimes.

Other than doing the promised workout, I have grown-up house things to do today. Fun. I might even treat myself to balancing my checkbook and nice hot shower.

Tonight, we finish the combat we started last week in the evil campaign. I have a feeling that a group of good guys are about to show up. And then die. A lot. Pray to your gods that one of them is an archer. I’m running low on arrows.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
