A Day of Smelling Bad.

And a day of soul crushing. Back to back.
Happy Caturday friendly friends.
Yesterday, the first half of the day the Universe decided I was going to stink. Literally stink. During workout, I caught a draft from the chimney of stink that is my armpit. Like onions boiled in red wine vinegar.
Then, I finished building the compost tumbler at work and got the pleasure of loading it with all of the vegetable and yard waste that was already starting to decompose around the place. It got on my hand. No amount of scrubbing could get that smell out. It was that smell right in between rotting garbage and shit. Like the rotting garbage hadn’t quite turned into shit yet.
Later, on my return trip from the store, I spotted a giant box or snapping turtle gingerly walking across the highway. Down the road I spotted a semi coming along and had the sneaking the suspicion that the aforementioned turtle was about to explode under the weight of one the semi’s 18 wheels. So, I decided to move it along. As soon as I picked it up it peed. On me. Well, you’re fucking welcome.
Needless to say, I cleaned up a lot before going to my massage. Which was just what the doctor ordered. To top off that that relaxing reward for myself, I got a haircut right after. Which means I got my hair washed. There are few better ways to end your week, let me tell you. I had to, of course, go all out with my self-rewarding and picked up an order of super nachos for dinner. I had earned them.
And then, at 9pm, as I was watching DS9, my boss called and told me we had a special guest at the ranch. A buddy of mine (and his glorious moustache) had just popped in on his (their) way back to Dublin. So, I had to go see him of course. Rumor has it that he might be coming out to roller derby today as well.
Speaking of which, I have a million things to do before the tournament starts. At 3:30pm. At the Fort Smith Convention Center. Tickets are $12 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Sebastian County Humane Society.
See ya’ in a few hours.
More soon. ~SC
