As the crow flies.

I’d like to start out today’s post by thanking everyone for their concern about my illness. Now please stop asking me about it. It is not helping. It is in fact making me grumpier.

The good news is that the congestion in my face is moving into my chest. So, my face doesn’t feel like it is going to explode anymore. But, now my chest is filled with the most vile-coloured stuff you can imagine. How do I know what color it is? Because I cough it up and spit it out. After looking at it, I immediately regret letting it pass through my mouth. And then I think, would it really have been better to swallow that? Answer: no.

In more exciting news, and sort of in keeping with the theme of this post so far, the new “Weird Al” video came out yesterday. It reminds me of my life and the problems I solve for people all week.

Today is a day of further recovery. And a shower. And maybe some laundry.
