The Lamentations of Our Women.

They heard it. Because it is best in life.

Yesterday was a busy, busy day.

I started out by setting up the recording equipment for Pathfinder over at Praetoria. I had to think that far ahead. After that, I took the merch down to the convention center and dropped it off at my booth. Then, Teacher Sis and I went to lunch with a couple of the derby crew. Then, pre-game errands.

After errands were completed, it was game time. I set up my booth and got the camera ready to test out the new fancy rented lens. I then proceeded to take 1700 photos. 1700 even. Weird. I like how the photos look, but overall I am bit underwhelmed by the quality of the photos. Probably because all of the good photos are blurry. I guess that is just the learning curve for a new lens.

I haven’t gone through all 1700, but thereĀ are some promising shots in there. Stuff like these:

I’ll probably end up with 20 or so total good photos. That’s a little less than normal, but still within the standard deviation.

I also need to work on a watermark. So, any of you people out there who know how to use photoshop for doing stuff other than resizing photos, holla atcha boy. I’ll hook you up with some merch or something.

I ended up leaving Bubba Fett to run the merch booth around halftime of the third and final game. Why? Because I had to go pretend to be a Tengu ranger hellbent on the downfall of the hu-mahn race.

After a short night of Pathfinder, I came home with the intention of dropping my gear off and then going to get tacos. But the no pants party started and I ended up just eating a quesadilla here instead. I am due for some tacos today, though.

In addition to tacos, today is a day of laundry and making kimchee vegetable experiments. And grocery shopping. And hopefully reading “Outlander”.

And on that note, I’d better get started. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
