I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Big D. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Yesterday was a good day.

I learned that I will be the new bee keeper at work. Which is something I’ve always wanted to do. Now I just have to learn how to do it.

I also took delivery of an amazing painting of pterodactyls that Shamrock did for me. I’m so grateful for his tolerance of me bugging him to do that painting for the last 13 years. And I’m more grateful for his friendship.

Henry and I rounded the day out by taking a field trip over to Dave’s and Little Miss Cotton’s house…

Today is a day of research.

And of chickens. My baby chickens arrive today! So much preparing has to happen.

I guess I’d better get to work.
