Winter is coming. All drones must die.

I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Sweetbread. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Today’s theme is: Animal.

Dude. Bees are amazing.

Also terrifying.

I’m super excited to put my hand down into a box filled with 50,000-60,000 tiny stinging creatures that have a complex language and political system and steal their precious resources.

This is just the first of, I’m sure, many punny post titles having to do with bees.

That said, being a male honey bee is awful. If you can avoid it, I’d recommend that you do so.

Then I got up stupid early yesterday to get a head start on the long drive back. So early, in fact, that they hadn’t started serving breakfast. So I read for a bit…

September 12

After breakfast, I hit the road and made the trek back. I got back well before noon and got straight to work.

Because what you want to do after driving all morning is drive the rest of the day. But I got to talk about bees a lot which made it a pretty great day.

Today is a very full day. Odds are I won’t get everything done. But I’ll be damned if I don’t try. And I might go buy some comics.
