Happy Yo-Yo Day!

I like that you can’t see the string on my yo-yo. It looks like it is just magically hovering there.

Yesterday was a long day.

I had my doc check-up first thing.

Then I sat with the kid up at the ranch for a while.

I started reading The Wake by Scott Snyder. Holy fuckballs it’s good.

I really dig Sean Murphy’s art for it. He did a run of Batman called White Knight and it was ridiculously good. I’m super stoked about the sequel that’s about to come out.

After sitting with the kid, I ran a handful of errands in town.

Then I headed up the hill right before the rains came.

More errands up there and then back home in time to buy drugs and salad stuff.

Then dinner, a Target run, and then back home to wind down.

Then bed.

Today is Thursday.

And we are back to batshit crazy chaos now that the flood waters have receded.

After all the crazy I’m hoping to run, read comics, drink coffee, and destroy the last of the flooring in the basement.

I should probably put real pants on now.
