Happy Doughnut Day!

Yesterday was fucking crazy.

It rained all day.

Which made me wanna nap all day.

Which I didn’t get to do.

So that made me grumpy.

And eating salad for dinner instead of tortellini and fresh baked bread didn’t help either.

Coffee and comics and snuggles helped though.

Today is Friday.

Fingers crossed that the Blacksmith can get out of his driveway and meet me for coffee this morning.

After coffee, with or without the Blacksmith, I’ll head to work for a bit.

Then it’s off to NWA for a baseball game this evening.

I’m taking the fam to a game as my present to Jitterbug for her birthday.

One baseball game with fireworks coming up.

Tomorrow I’ll have the house to myself most of the day.

And then I’ve got to perform a wedding ceremony in the evening.

Sunday is looking about the same for the me time.

I’m planning on working on the basement all day both days.

I’ve got lots of stuff to haul to the dumpster and down to the street.

Then I can start coating everything in mold/mildew killer.

Then paint.

And drywall.

And paint some more.

And tile.

And install the toilet, vanity, and shower.

Then maybe move on to the rest of the flooring.

That’s my goal before Le Duc gets here. To have the bathroom done and have everything painted and the new floor down.

I can build everything else after I get back from my fishing trip.

But all of that is weeks away.

This coffee is only minutes away.
