Like when you used to own a bungee cord net for the bed of your truck.

I finally got some sleep!!!

Two melatonin and half an Ambien later.

I slept like a fucking rock.

Probably because I haven’t slept very much this week.

And I’ve done all the things.

I got all the metal roofing off the veranda and started taking down the old OSB. I didn’t get very far with that though.

Turns out it’s tricky to remove the roof when that’s what you’re needing to stand on to remove the roof.

It’s also exhausting work by yourself…

My goal for this weekend is to get the rest of the OSB off and replaced and get the new metal roofing up.

I guess I could’ve just said get the new roof on the veranda.

Shuddup.

If we can get the new roof up today I can start painting it and the rest of the veranda tomorrow.

Once I get the veranda done it’ll be back to the yard work for a while.

Then it’s on to gutters, the other porch roof, fixing the gallery building’s walls, stringing up a million or so lights, and cleaning up the rest of the yard.

No big deal.
