Saturday was a day of people.

A fucking shit-ton of people.

And dogs.

But I got homemade carrot cake at the end of it, so it was kinda worth it.

But it wore me the fuck out…

On Sunday I spent the day avoiding as many people as possible and recovering the energy that had been syphoned off the previous day.

It was a good thing that Beatle Sue left that amazing carrot cake at our house to aid in my revival.

Just like Gideon’s bible.

Anyway, I kept meaning to sit down and read, but I kept getting distracted but stuff around the house that needed doing.

But I got a fair amount of resting in as well…

And closer to bedtime I got some reading in for good measure.

Today is Monday.

And it’s back to the grind.
