Right up your nose.

So we are locked down at the house until we get our test results back.

2-5 days after they were taken.

sigh.

It’s gonna be a long week.

Especially since being stuck in the house with people all day was already getting to me on day one…

Yes.

I chose to lay at the base of a tree that smells like dogshit.

Rather than be around the people I live with.

I don’t think it would’ve been so bad had it not come on the heels of being around them all weekend long.

Weirdly enough, Mondays usually allow me to be by myself quite a bit when I’m hustling around putting out the fires that started over the weekend.

No alone time.

No battery recharge.

Only people.

Everywhere I turn.

And it’s not even that they want my attention all the time.

It’s just that I am aware of them all the time.

And that being aware constantly is exhausting.

Nearly 40 years in and I still haven’t figured out how to turn that radar off.

I’ll keep working on it.

But in the meantime, I’m going to go hide.
