He’s Like a Wolf.

Not because of his ability to hunt or kill, but because he wouldn’t survive on his own.

Yesterday was one big wild goose chase.

I had to run to work at 7:30am because a client locked themself out.

Then I rushed back home to shit and shower before rushing to meet the Blacksmith for coffee.

Which was brief, but much needed.

It was brief because a client’s HVAC went out, so I had go meet the repairman.

And a client wanted lunch for a specific restaurant, which was closed for the foreseeable future.

I learned this because after calling them a dozen times and getting no answer, I finally just drove over there to discover a sign on the door.

Which explained the not answering the phone thing.

So I had to track down a different lunch.

And pick it up and deliver it before 12:30pm.

Then I went to the locksmith to get a spare key made for a client.

But the locksmith couldn’t identify my key.

So I had to track down a different key.

And then got the spare made.

Which didn’t work.

Because I had made a copy from the other key and not my key.

And I guess the other key was a copy.

And mine is an original.

So the copy of the copy didn’t work.

Then I drove out to the boonies to start a dishwasher.

I finally made it back to the office with about twenty minutes to work on the coddamn lights that I’ve been waiting on parts for for two weeks.

By the time I got home I realized that all I had eaten since breakfast was two bananas and two cookies.

So I was kinda grumpy come dinner time.

I opted to sit in quiet calm while everyone else went to basketball practice.

And then I rested my eyes for a few minutes…

Today is going to be rainy.

I’ll probably be working on Grismas presents for my siblings most of the day.

Tomorrow I’m considering taking the day off to rest and recover before the big holiday weeks that are about to begin.

See ya’ on Monday.

More soon. ~SC
