My Tree-Toe Is No Longer A Tree-Toe.

It’s literally just a toe now.

Yesterday started out rough.

I was not awake to find the groove of the day.

The workout was a struggle.

Not just because the exercises were difficult.

But also because everything wasn’t working the way it was supposed to.

My resistance loops kept rolling up/down and pulling single hairs as they went.

There’s really nothing quite as disheartening as trying to do front-loaded weighted soul destroyers at 5am while the giant rubber bands you’ve double stacked for extra resistance slowly pluck hairs out of your ankles one by one.

It’s moments like that that really put life into perspective.

I did go to the chiropractor though.

Finally.

We made it to the second x-ray (1. Cephalothorax, 2. Abdomen) before my doc stops me to ask if I was aware that there was that much gas in my GI tract.

I told him that that was completely normal, much to my children’s chagrin, but not to worry.

But he had to stress to me that he’d never seen anyone with that much gas in them.

And he’d seen a lot of x-rays.

Then he showed me how all of my guts look like balloon animals.

So that was cool.

I am currently trying to figure out how to get the images to load on my computer and then maybe I’ll share them with you.

Of the three vertebrae that he identified that were the probable cause of my headaches, he could only get one of them to budge.

Because the muscles of my entire body are like one giant clenched fist.

And they said “no thank you” to the pressure of shifting my spine around.

But I didn’t get a headache the rest of the day, so I’ll take that as a win.

And I took every opportunity to stretch that I could…

I just want to try to maintain what progress we made today for as long as possible.

Today is Tuesday.

I don’t have a lot on the list for today, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be busy.

I’ve already had messages feeling out my schedule for the day.

I will definitely need a nap.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
