Today’s word is Aberrant.

[ uh-ber-uhnt, ab-er- ] adjective departing from the right, normal, or usual course. deviating from the ordinary, usual, or normal type; exceptional; abnormal. noun an aberrant person, thing, group, etc.

So apparently Microsoft Excel decided that Ablate comes before Aberrant in alphabetical order.

So it goes.

Some of you may not know this, but unlike most people, I have a very difficult time hearing the sound of chewing.

People in movies. People at the table with me. People that are me.

I rarely eat without music or NPR or audiobooks on.

Some other sound.

Anything to distract me from sticking a pencil into the chewer’s neck.

That’s one of my aberrant behaviors.

We spent most of yesterday redoing our bathroom.

And I’m going to spend a lot of today touching up the paint and caulk.

We begin this cycle of work again.
