I finally finished In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto. I picked it up last year, one, because the it was a hardback first edition and two, because the title has two of my favorite things: eating and manifestos. I started reading it in January and read it on and off since then, but, like with everybody, the books on the To Read list are starting to back, so I figured let’s get this over with and move on to something else. I have already started reading Usher: Poems by B. H. Fairchild. So far he has not let me down. I am only on the second poem, but the first one, damn fine. Well, anyway, right this second it is not true for me, but here on wordpress it is true. May is gone and June is here. The May Daily Photographs are all up and the June page is up, but blank. Head is heavy. Time for bed. More soon. ~SC
